The Alabama All-Stars had five turnovers - four interceptions and a fumble. Two of the interceptions were returned for scores... one of them a 94-yard return by Mississippi MVP Alonzo Lawrence of George County.
The Mississippi defense held Foley star Julio Jones without a catch. Briarwood Christian's Barrett Trotter, an Auburn signee, was 11 of 15 for 117 yards and a score for Alabama, but also threw three interceptions.
South Panola's Darius Barksdale was Mississippi's leading rusher
with 73 yards on 15 carries, while Daphne's Reggie Hunt led the
Alabama All-Stars with 22 yards rushing on eight carries.
