A former NFL and University of Alabama football star is facing drug charges.Mobile Police arrested Keith McCants Monday morning at an abandoned home on state street. Police say McCants had a glass tube and a small piece of steel wool, which are commonly used to smoke crack cocaine. McCants is charged with loitering for the purpose of drug activity and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting bond.
McCants was born in Mobile and played football at Murphy High School. He was drafted in 1990 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and played 6 years in the NFL.
