Alabama Coach Nick Saban's visit to Mobile Monday night canceled because of severe weather in southwest Alabama. Weather Grounds Saban

Alabama fans in the Mobile area had circled the calander months ago when the GMAC Bowl announced Saban would speak at the Oct. 23rd 1st and 10 Club meeting. Saban was also scheduled to speak to the Red Elephant Club too. But, the severe weather the hit the gulf coast forced Saban to stay in Tuscaloosa.
Assistant coach Lance Thompson, who was already in Mobile, stood in for his boss and made an appearance at both functions. Alabama is off this week. The Crimson Tide will host LSU a week from Saturday. CBS Sports will televise the game with a 4:00pm kick-off.
