It was deja vu for Alabama on Saturday. Good special teams play on their 1st possession and scoring on the 1st play of their drive. It added up to a 24-10 victory over Vanderbilt. It wasn't a 52-6 blowout like a week previously, but they were just as effective. It also helps that redshirt freshman, Terry Grant rushed for 173 yards and 2 scores. The Tide defense held All-American wide receiver, Earl Bennett to 4 catches for 52 yards and the Commordors offense to under 250 yards of total offense. Kicker Lane Tiffin was 3 of 5 on the day and John Parker Wilson went 14 of 28 for 150 yards.
