Five turnovers says it all. It was thought that the Auburn Tigers were going to make some offensive adjustments from last week's game vs Kansas State. But it pretty much looked like the same game. Brandon Cox threw two interceptions, plus 3 fumbles from the Tiger backs as Auburn loses to South Florida, 26-23 in overtime. Defense held their own vs the potent Bulls offense, until overtime as quarterback Matt Grothe found Jessie Hester Jr. in the endzone to clinch the upset. The loss knocks the Tigers out of the Top 25 going into this Saturday's game vs Mississppi State, an 11:30 A.M. kick-off.
