Alabama's all SEC cornerback Simeon Castille was arrested early Monday morning (August 19th) on the Tuscaloosa strip. He was charged with disorderly conduct and later released after posting a $500 bond.A school spokesperson said Head Coach Nick Saban is aware of the situation and is still gathering all of the facts. The spokesperson also said Saban plans to handle the matter internally.
Last year, Castille led Bama with 6 INT's and recovered a team high three fumbles. He's also a candidate for the Jim Thorpe Award, given to the best defensive back in the country.
Castille is the fourth Tide football player arrested for disorderly conduct in the past two months.
