The Crimson Tide didn't waste anytime welcoming Nick Saban back to the SEC, as freshman running back Terry Grant scored on the games 1st play as the freshman ran thru the Catamount defense all day long to the tune of 134 yards and 3 touchdowns. Over 92-thousand fans witness the 52-6 drubbing, as 'Bama racked up 577 yards of total offense. Quarterback, John Parker Wilson was efficent, going 17 of 25 for 191, but with no scores. Next weekend, Alabama will begin SEC play on the road at Vanderbilt, 11:30 kickoff.
