Annie's Rump Roast

Rump roast (Winn Dixie)
McCormick seasoned pepper
blend seasonings
Coarse ground black pepper
White pepper
Garlic salt
Salt
1 lg. pkg fresh mushrooms,
sliced

Sprinkle the 5 seasonings on all sides of rump roast. Place in heavy-duty roaster that has been sprayed lightly with Pam. Pour mushrooms over the roast. Cover with the roaster lid or use heavy-duty aluminum foil and seal tightly. Roast at 350*. After roast is cooked, let sit, covered for at least 2 hours so it can sweat. Soooooooo goooood!
Roast the beef for 20 minutes per pound.Cool for 15 minutes before carving. Cut into thin slices across the grain of meat. Then ask some friends over for dinner. Enjoy!!!

Tip: I usually get em' from Winn Dixie when they have the buy one--- get one free sale.
