Country Vegetable Soup

2 cups chicken, cut into bite size pieces
2 cups sausage, cut into bite size pieces
3 quarts chicken broth
1 small can of rotel tomatoes
1 can drained corn
1 can drained green limas
1 can drained diced potatoes
1 can drained red kidney beans
1 pkg dry onion soup mix
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tsp basil
salt & pepper to taste

Mix everything together- thicken with instand mash potatoes if desired. Simmer at least 1/2 hour before serving. Enjoy!
