Apple Crunch
Ingredients:
1 stick of butter
Yellow cake mix (1 box)
21 oz. canned apple pie filling (2 cans)
½ cup chopped pecans
Ice cream or whipping cream (optional)
Instructions:
Empty both cans of pie filling into bottom of large rectangular pyrex baking dish. Cut butter into dry cake mix until crumbly. Place cake mixture on top of pie filling. Sprinkle pecans on the top of dessert. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes or until golden brown on top.
To simplify even further…sprinkle dry cake mix over the top of pie filling. Add in pecans. Cut butter into pats and spread evenly over the top of the cake mix. Bake as described above.
