On Friday, I had a backpack stuffed with items for a shower and a pair of old fashioned roller rink favorites!
Day 6 of Putting It In Park is roller skating.
I skated a mile up the road and lost my balance. (Feel free to laugh when you watch the video)
We met a few people on the 7 mile journey from West Mobile.
News 5's Chris Frye spotted us while he was out running errands. He drove us a mile closer to our destination.
Rolling in on skates was incredibly time consuming and ended up taking more than 3 hours.
Someone suggested trying roller blades instead. I tested out a pair on Thursday night and felt like I had two left feet!
Just as we were turning into Broadcast Drive, the rain started. This was not a good day!
As entertaining as this story was for my co-workers, I don't recommend trying this method.

I know of someone locally that manufacture hydrogen fuel cells for cars. Increases your gas mileage by about 6 to 10 miles per gallon. Makes hydrogen from non haz materal. Pretty cool device. It really works well. You will notice an increase in your gas mileage right off. I get about 8 more miles more per gallon on my compact (v-4) car and about 6 more miles per gallon on my truck (v-8). I recommend a mechanic install any fuel cells on your vehicle.
