There’s a bus system in Baldwin County? I know there’s a MOBILE bus that runs over there a couple times day…but could you get from Daphne to Fairhope, then maybe Fairhope to Gulf Shores?

Tiffany has a lot of days to fill with this series of reports.  What will she come up with next?  Roller blades?

You just need to buy another car and leave it over there, or cfatch the bus. lol

The only trouble I see with that though is…
Say you drive to the Moffett Road exit and you park your car at the parking lot there and get on the train. It then takes you across the bay to Daphne, you get off….then what? How do you get to work from there?

Opinionwriter that is a great idea about having a commuter train running along the interstate and the bayway.  Their could be stations at different exits with parking on both sides of the bay.  Would cut down on the traffic on the Bayway and we would not have to build a huge new bridge.  A rail bridge will be alot cheaper than building a new span bridge.

A high speed public train up I65 and across the Bayway would be freakin awesome.  Maybe if we get the tanker deal we could afford it

Whatever happened to the trolly? My grandmother talks about taking the trolly, and that “The Loop” is where the trollies used to “loop” back around!

But what would be even cooler? A MONORAIL!

I just hope Tiffany does not resort to using her thumb, or a cardboard sign at a major intersection! 

So I guess what we’ve learned is that it will be impossible to break our addiction to oil.
