Our solution is simple.. Tiffany Craig is not buying gas for a month.
While most of you are celebration Independence Day, I'm losing mine! I have to get around this month without buying gas.
After Putting It In Park Thursday night, I called a friend/co-worker to pick me up.
Jessica Taloney agreed to swing by my place on July 4th. "What time are you coming in tomorrow?" I asked.
Jessica responded. "I've got to be in a little early. So, I need to come by your house about 7:45AM. Ok?"
Everything was set... except my alarm!
Friday morning I overslept. In my scramble to get photographer Arnell Hamilton in place for our ride, I was half-ready.
Jessica politely pointed that out. "Hey. Nice hair! That's not TV hair Tiff." I replied with sarcasm. "Thank you. I didn't have time to do my hair."
Day 1 of Putting It In Park is carpooling. As I see it, I'm on Jessica's route to work so she didn't waste any extra gas on me!
We talked about some options for next week. She offered to let me use her rollerblades as long as I wore a helmet camera.
Reporter Steve Alexander mentioned the night before that he would give me a piggy back ride!
I need all the ideas I can get because I have 18 more (work) days left of Putting It In Park.
