this is a pathetic town and i have been here all 48 yrs of my life. sometimes i wish i ws somewhere else, there is no places to shop, the grocery stores are so high you have to go out of town in order to get a good selection.

This town really needs help..things are closing not propsering,,what has fluker done since he has been here, nothing,,,,we can use jobs here.JOBS, do you hear me, JOBS…THERE IS NOTHING HERE TO OFFER ANYONE,,FLUKER SINCE YOU ARE MAYOR BRING US SOME JOBS HERE…..

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED TO SEE THAT ON OCT. 7TH AS WE AWAITED THE FATE OF OUR CITY AND OUTCOME OF THE MAYORAL RACE, AS MAYOR FLUKER EXITED CITY HALL TO EXPLAIN WHAT WAS GOING ON, I THOUGHT TO THE ENTIRE PUBLIC, HE WENT TO HIS SUPPORTS ONLY IN THE CORNER AREA OF THE FRONT STEPS AND SPOKE ONLY TO THEM…HELLO!!!!! YOU WERE STILL MAYOR AT THAT TIME EVEN THOUGH IT SEEMED AS THOUGH MR WOLFF WAS TWO VOTES AHEAD.  YOU IGNORED THE ENTIRE GROUP OF WHITE VOTERS AND DID NOT SPEAK TO US, THE PUBLIC.  YOU THEN COMMENCED TO CALLING MR WOLFF A RACIST AND A LIAR AND THEN YOU, A DEACON AND LEADER OF YOUR CHURCH, YOU CURSED NOT JUST ONCE, BUT TWICE, ON THE STEPS OF CITY HALL WHILE GIVING YOUR SPEACH IN THE PRESENCE OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN.  IT WAS AT THIS TIME I LOST ALL, YES ALL, RESPECT FOR YOU AS A PERSON, MUCH LESS AN ELECTED OFFICIAL.  WHAT A ROLE MODEL FOR THE YOUTH. I AM EMBARRASSED TO EVEN THINK THAT YOU ARE A SO CALLED LEADER, AND IF SO… MAY GOD HELP US ALL!!!!

I here people saying how Evergreen has been on the decline for four years under Mayor Larry Fluker.  Evergreen has been on the decline for decades.  Mayor Fluker has brought new life to this town.  Stop working against him.  Evergreen is full of rumors and gossip right now.  Ignore it.  Mayor Fluker won fair and square because he was the better candidate.  Any decline in Evergreen is due to the economy.  It is happening all over the country.  Mayor Fluker is not to blame for what greedy bankers and even greedier oil companies did.  I am proud to be a long time citizen of Evergreen.  I am proud to have Mayor Fluker.  I ignore the silly rumors.  Work with Mayor Fluker for a better Evergreen.  I am white.  But, I am not the typical citizen who says I am not racist, but want Mayor Fluker out because the color of his skin.  It is about race.  Sad to say that.  But the truth hurts at times.  Evergreen needs a mayor like Mayor Fluker and I am grateful we have him for four more years.

Blessed 1,  If anyone else had used that word that you have at the end of your message, we would have been attacked right through the screen.  That is awful. I don’t care who you are or what color you are, you should not use that word.

Evergreen has not been on a decline. The fact is provisional ballots were “found” after all the votes had been counted and everyone was asked if there were any votes left. How does that happen. Today we learn that all of the ballots from certain boxes are missing!! Give me a break. I guarantee these were the same boxes that got ppl shipped in by the bus load! Or was it the dead ppl coming in. If you are gonna cheat Larry Fluker and the NAACP at least do it a little better. I mean really who is gonna believe that dead ppl have come back alive just to vote for Larry Fluker. And for the record Larry Fluker brought up race not wkrg. when he came out of city hall tuesday he brought up the race & please tell me why he cant address white ppl? Does he have a problem with us?? Last time i checked the NAACP was for all colored ppl. Well i am not transparent!!

ladybug i disagree.  evergreen has been in decline far longer than four years.  does anyone ever ask why? isn’t it situated in a great location for commerce? not far from mobile or montgomery?  who holds the purse strings in evergreen?  who gains the most by keeping other businesses out? how low are the wages paid at the main factories there, excuse me, the one factory left? who is the winner when there is no other competition for workers? one man may claim to be the friend of the lowly, but do you ever ask who’s putting money in his back pocket.  you might be surprised.  my guess - the richest citizens of evergreen, regardless of color, voted for the man who, regardless of his words, works to keep out other businesses.
