UNDATED (AP) - There's Sarah Palin the candidate -- and Palin
Syrah (pronouced pay-LEEN' sih-rah) the wine. It's from a small vintner in
northern Chile and has nothing to do with the Republican V.P.
nominee. But some wine sellers report an increase in sales since
the other Palin has selected by John McCain to be his running mate.
However, in strongly Democratic San Franciso, Palin the wine is now
a tough sell. But in Houston, one wine store has sold out of Palin
Syrah. It goes for $13 a bottle and is described as rich and
full-bodied.

Gun control? Obama supported it in Chicago, and well lets just say that has really worked well. It is one of the most unsafe cities in the world. The criminals will be the only one’s with guns.

You are hearing bits and pieces of Obama’s promises, but not searching for the truth. John Johnson, who was one of the key players in the failure of Fannie or Freddie, is (was) on his economic advisory board for gosh sakes. But of course, true to course, when it was found he was associated with another low life scum, he “distanced” himself and removed him. Though the news did report that he is still involved in the campaign.

He has no proven record, other than voting “present.” He has not managed a business, a city or a state. He is a puppet to the liberal left. Even IF he is elected, none of the decisions will be his own, because he is controlled by the democrats on the hill and in the media. He is a yellow bellied joke.

A good site for info on the two candidates is Obama-McCain.info. It compares the issues and their promises side by side. I truly do not see how you can support Obama’s tax plan. It will hurt EVERYONE.

If he raises the taxes on everyone making more than $250,000/year, which is more than 1-2% of the population, everyone’s taxes are going up, jobs will be lost as small businesses are forced to shut down, and welfare lines will grow. An across the board fair tax as McCain proposes is, well fair. Inherently, those making more will pay more, but not be penalized by extra tax debt because of their success-as per Obama’s plan.

Healthcare? Is he going to go door to door and force people to sign up, and implant them with a microchip that tracks their doctor visits, if they can even get an appointment? Tell that tumor to wait a year before growing, because that is how long YOU may have to wait to be seen. HC is available NOW and people do not utilize it or even bother to apply.cont….

The scope of the Obama proposal was not lost on a leading anti-tax group.

“With their proposals to raise Social Security taxes, it appears that John Edwards and Barack Obama are engaged in competition to see who can wreak more havoc on the economy,” said Club for Growth spokeswoman Nachama Soloveichik. “Obama comes out the winner with his proposal to raise Social Security taxes on more Americans than Edwards proposed in his plan. But make no mistake: While Obama’s plan is worse, both plans would significantly increase America’s tax burden; devastate the economy, and turn Social Security into a full-fledged welfare program

DeterminedOne, what qualifications does obama have?

Tax break every person that has ever ran for president has promised. Universal health sounds like free clinics, been there, done that, got the tee shirt, no thanks. They all make promises, that’s the whole point in running, otherwise on election day you would get a ballot that says “This person and this person is running pick one.”  I hope the American people will pick a president not based on what someone tells them but on what they feel in their heart to be the best person. I pray for America. All the best to you. The BFA

Tax breaks, universal healthcare….for starters….Bottom line…A heck of a lot more than what McPalin would do. McPalin is worried about the wrong issues. Who cares about sportsman wanting to be allowed to keep their rifles??? I brought this issue out because I saw a bumper sticker that says “Sportsmen support McCain”.  I wanted to puke.

But what is he going to do for these hard working Americans?

Furthermore, we don’t need another President who makes impulsive and rash decisions! McCain has made some very impulsive decisions (his choice as VP for one) and now he’s paying for them.

I like the fact that the “other side” truly cares about working Americans. They care about the fact that most people are struggling to make ends meet (yes, even the people who make a decent salary)! I can not endure another 4 years of being lied to and being stolen from! I’m ready for some relief. McPalin will only make matters worse because they have the same mind-set as the current President. It infuriates me to hear people talk about the minor mistakes that Obama makes but look at our current President! He wouldn’t remember his own name if he wasn’t reading a teleprompter! He’s a babbling idiot 99% of the time!

Please it is understood you do not like the “other side” but what do you like about the “other side”?
