WASHINGTON, DC Wednesday, July 02, 2008 -- U.S. Senator Richard Shelby (R-Ala.) today sent a letter to Defense Secretary Robert Gates to urge the Department to move forward expeditiously in a tanker acquisition strategy.

YEP! And I’m skittish about Mr.Gates last release where he said he would accept no further delays in starting this contract. I take that to mean if Boeing gets it on this go around, Northrup/Grumman could not appeal. I think we’re about to see if big money still controls most of Washington D.c.!
