BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) - Karl Rove is defending his decision
to defy a congressional subpoena, saying he's offered to answer
lawmakers' questions as long as there's no transcript and he's not
under oath. He also offered to answer written questions.
During a Fox News panel, the former White House aide and current
Fox News contributor said the issue centers on "the ability of the
president to receive advice from senior advisers and for those
senior advisers not to be at the beck-and-call of Congress for
testimony."
Lawmakers subpoenaed Rove in May to force him to talk about
whether he played a role in prosecutors' decisions to pursue cases
against Democrats, such as former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman, or in
firing federal prosecutors considered disloyal to the Bush
administration.
The White House has cited executive privilege as a reason for
Rove to defy the subpoena.

I dont trust any of them...Clinton lied when caught redhanded....Imagine what else he lied about that the public was never aware of.

maybe you are right but i think there is a difference between asking someon if they cheated on thier wife and whether they outed an active cia operative. then he lies and the president pardons him. i would challenge you, how did you answer the marijuana question when you joined the service in the 70’s or 80’s or 90s. what would you say if confronted by someone other than your spouse about whether or not you had cheated on your wife, or whether or not you and your wofe engaged in certain behaviors. just wondering. it was easy to cast stones but those that were the most guilty were shouting the loudest. Not republican BS....POLITICAL BS...Its not partial to either political party....it equally aflicts both. Remember...Clinton lied under oath and it was so blatently obvious…
