NEW YORK CITY, New York - (AP) - Sarah Palin (PAY'-lin) has finished her memoir
just four months after the book deal was announced. Her publisher
says the release date has been moved up from the spring to Nov. 17.
Harper publisher Jonathan Burnham says the former Alaska
governor invested herself deeply and passionately in the project.
He says the book contains fascinating detail.
The 400-page book is the first for Palin, who has been an object
of fascination since Republican Sen. John McCain chose her as his
running mate during his 2008 presidential bid. The book will be
called "Going Rogue: An American Life."
A huge first printing of 1.5 million copies has been
commissioned by Harper, an imprint of HarperCollins.

“The initial buzz from Matt Latimer’s book on George W. Bush, “Speechless: Tales of a White House Survivor,” focused on the president’s assessments of Sarah Palin (“not even remotely prepared” for high office) and his remarks on Hillary Clinton’s rear end.”

Reality Bites

Hey BamaBob, Did you catch the book that came out last year about Sarah Palin?

The book was titled:  Sarah Palin: A New Kind of Leader.  ISBN 0310318920.

It was written by a local author, Joe Hilley, who resides in Fairhope.  He is also the author of 5 mysteries set in Mobile.  website is http://www.joehilley.com/

A publishing industry source told POLITICO that they “cannot remember a non-fiction book taking off like this in the pre-order market. It became number one only a couple of hours after nothing more than a date announcement. It is truly unprecedented.”

bobthere is a rumor circulating in the tech blogs that Mrs Palin is going to read her book on audible, that company that sells audio books online, and that its going to come out about the same time s the hard back. it would be like having her read you a bed time story every night. they are having an extra large printing, an arder and a half of the book done they say., its expected to sell very well. i plan on reading it or listening to it i havent decided. it should be interesting to read, and its her words and it will aloow me to maybe form an opinion about her.she captured the attention of a large part of the population, i would like to know hwat it is about her so many find fascinating. i can get on board with some of her political ideas, most probably, dont like drilling in alaska or the gulf, lets use up everyone elses oil and then we will have it all. the thing that turned me off to her was the brother in law thing and her husbands involvement in state goverment. i never could get passed that. if he and she were that arrogant in alaska in washington they would have been a terror i think. aside from that i do plan to read it and see just what all the excitement is about.

Totally agree,bobcat.

Already pre-ordered multiple copies.

I wish Sarah Palin the very best in her success with her book release and speeches.  I believe everyone should be able to make a decent living with the things they are capable of fulfilling without corruption.  I just know that she will never be President of the U.S.A. because of her ignorant interviews and reputation for being a wimp that quits when the heat turns on. She is clearly not capable of running this country successfully and I have lost all confidence in her by her own actions. I’m not happy that Obama won the election but I’m as equally thankful that she lost.  It’s just that simple IMO.

BamaBob just wants to get the book just to see if she is wearing a bikini or less in it. If not, he won’t buy it.

I hear that Glenn Beck will come out with a new book titled, He Got the Whole South in His Hands, with an introduction by Rush Limbaugh.

I don’t think lesbians and women that routinely kill their own offspring much care for Palin.
