BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Michelle Obama visits Birmingham Monday
to attend a private fundraising luncheon.
Her husband, Illinois Senator Barack Obama, campaigned in
Birmingham in late January before winning the state's Democratic
presidential primary in February. This is his wife's first campaign
appearance in the state.
The event will start at noon at the home of Hillery Head and
Giles Perkins, who is a former executive director of the Alabama
Democratic Party. The minimum donation is $1,000 per person. The
money will go to the Obama Victory Fund.

You mean she is belittling herself to come visit us back-woods, gun-toting rednecks in the south? So maybe someone in Washington does see us as a viable state and not a foreign country? Can’t wait to hear what stupid remarks are made at this event…..
