Obama “Surprised” About Winning The Nobel Peace Prize

WASHINGTON, D.C. - (AP) - President Barack Obama says he's honored to
win the Nobel Peace Prize, but says he isn't sure he's done enough
to earn it.

Speaking in the White House Rose Garden this morning,
Obama acknowledged he was "both surprised and deeply humbled" to
win the award. He said he doesn't see it as a recognition of his
own accomplishments, but rather a recognition of goals he has set
for the United States and the world.

Angry souls here…. chill. I voted for him for the mere reason that McCain couldn’t complete a sentence without sticking his tongue out like a lizard and Sarah winks too much. What’s up with that? The church thinks the world ends in 2012 and he goes to church a lot and maybe he thinks the national debt won’t have to be repaid. I still think he is the lessor of two evils. Could be wrong. Mickey mouse? no, would not have voted. Obama came from nothing, unlike previous presidents and he made something of himself. Give him the chance to do something with our country. What is this reference I keep seeing to sheep? If I see one in my yard I will shoot it and call animal control.

mickey freaking mouse could have beat him for this award. it is as big a joke as he is. i’m glad he got it. it shows just how unjust and freaked out this move to a new world order of social control over the sheep. raise my taxes and take away my freedom and lie about it while you do it? he might have three years left in office but he is a lame duck. anybody that backs this quack is going to get voted out just as fast as he is and peanut brain carter was. let the two of them put that in there peace pipe and smoke it. the two of them can go on the road with an all time goat show.

They do not release the names of the nominees until 50 years after the award is given. If you want to know who Obama’s competition was, you’ll have to wait until 2059.

Had he declined the award the Obama-haters would have pegged him as unappreciative and arrogant. He was placed in a no win situation. He did right by donating the money. Maybe he would have gotten a few more brownie points though, had he applied it toward the national debt.
