MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Republican U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions has about $244 in his campaign account for every $1 held by his opponent, Democratic state Sen. Vivian Davis Figures.

New campaign finance reports filed by the candidates show
Sessions had $4.3 million in his campaign account. Figures has
about $17,600 in hers.

Sessions reported taking in more than $321,000 from mid-May to
the end of June. Figures received about $42,000 during the same
period.

The latest report spans the June 3 primary election, when both
candidates had low-key opposition and spent very little. Sessions
reported spending about $80,000 and Figures more than $38,000.

I think Vivian Figures has a very narrow range of interests. The first and foremost is Vivian and the people come in some where way down the line, and you know I half way liked her husband when he held the office before he died.
