KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The son of a Democratic Tennessee state
lawmaker charged with hacking the e-mail account of Republican vice
presidential candidate Sarah Palin has pleaded not guilty.
David Kernell, 20, of Knoxville, Tenn., entered the
plea in federal court in Knoxville on Wednesday. His father is
longtime state Rep. Mike Kernell of Memphis.
David Kernell was released without posting bond, but the court
imposed several conditions. Kernell, an economics student at the
University of Tennessee, is not allowed to own a computer and can
use the Internet only for checking e-mail and doing class work.
Trial is set for Dec. 16. Kernell faces a maximum of five years
in prison, a $250,000 fine and a three-year term of supervised
release.

This young man has been around long enough to know right from wrong, and no doubt he’s smart enough to think ahead just a little bit about what the consequences might be. So that leads me to believe he doesn’t care or he feels he is above reproach or punishment because of his daddy’s position with the state. It’s time for a wake up call for this young man. Back off ? I don’t think so,not in this life time, but it does look as if he’s in training for politics. cool smile

Well I will have to give this child kudos for being inquisitive here.  He was exploring the internet and obviously he is very bright because it worked.  He was not out robbing banks, he did not do a home invasion.  Nothing is private anymore and I think this bright young man will be somebody in the long run.  Well heck what is wrong with live and learn nowadays.  He did not cause any permanent damage so back off.  So what. I think he will make a great lawyer or politician one day.  He got started early.

I wonder what he would get if it were Obama’s email account and his father was a republican? Probably life in the electric chair.LOL
