Grass roots group forms in Mobile and buys radio advertisements in Washington D.C. Fighting Back Against Boeing

There's a new salvo in the fight to get the Air Force tanker contract for Mobile.
This time it comes from a grass roots group here in the city.
Four people who live in Mobile have formed a non-profit group called "Alabamians to Build American Tankers."
The group has bought advertisements to run on radio stations in Washington D.C., right where members of Congress can hear them.
Here are some excerpts from the advertisements:
----"It appears that Boeing's cooperate policy is if Boeing can't win, no one can. And that means our troops lose."
----"Boeing claims military technology will wind up overseas. Boeing is one to talk. Last February, their engineer was arrested for sending trade secrets to communist China."
----"The reason we're still trying to replace our aging re-fueling tankers is because Boeing executives were involved in a scandal of bribery and cheating in the last bid."
Bryan Lee, one of the members of the group, said, "It was just time to answer some of the questions that Boeing has raised and the untruthfulness that they're putting out there. It was time to tell the truth from Mobile's side."
The advertisements are scheduled to start airing in Washington later this week.
News Five has tried to contact Boeing officials for reaction, but haven't heard from them as of yet.

Boeing might be having some russians do some engineering - but they arent building the WHOLE PLATFORM THERE. HUGE difference.

A US defense company has to follow a bunch of proceedures/regulations with the US government to share information with other countries. As far as our national security goes anyway…

Does EADS? They can sell the same tanker to the russians or IRan if they want - right?

my interest is the airforce. i never knew two cents about boeing until this, but i got really mad when i found out the facts. you see we were pro military when pro military was not cool, much less profitable. boeing is not much different from the mob. i really got ticked after reading some of what they have done to the last inspector. boeing is outsourcing to russia and china as we post. boeing is not the all american company. i worked for a international construction company. i know enough about the bidding process to know boeing knew what to do. boeing and their lobbyist posing as elected officals are a shame to the american people.
