Barack Obama and John McCain supporters tell us they both had some of their campaign signs stolen over the past few weeks.
Jesse Jackson has shown his support for Barack Obama on his lawn for the past couple of months. But yesterday he says he was appalled to find his campaign signs defaced with racial slurs. "I thought he might have trouble trying to win. But I didn't think it would get this nasty, I thought we'd long since passed that,"Said Jackson.
Callie Goodroom with the G.O.P of Mobile says if people are going to campaign, they should keep it clean. "I don't believe anyone should take up another person's sign and destroy it or take it to the trash or whatever they might be doing with them,"Said Goodrum.
Jesse Jackson tells us vandals also defaced his signs during the Presidential Primary. He says he also filed a police report about Sunday's vandalism.

Like I said before, I don’t have a problem with anyone of any color unless you gripe about being singled out because of your race. I am almost 40 years old and I have had three different full-time jobs in my life and I have been working since I was 18. I was always taught that I had to earn my paycheck. At each of these three jobs, I have been discriminated against because I came in to work and started doing my job. People get ticked off at me and say I’m trying to be a smart a-s by working more. I guess it is showing them up and the boss wonders why they are not doing more. I do not try to call attention to myself by saying “I’ve done more than you”. My job speaks for itself and I don’t have to say a thing. It’s a sad world to live in when you have people jealous of you because you do your job and more and are not getting paid to do more, you just do it. I get talked about because I don’t socialize. I’m there to work, not talk.
