While it may be his last visit to the Gulf Coast as President of the United States, President Bush says his work here isn't done. The Commander-in-Chief touched down in Gulfport, Mississippi after giving a hurricane Katrina anniversary speech in New Orleans, Wednesday morning. Bush held a private dinner with local leaders from State Governor Haley Barbour to Gulfport City Mayor Brent Warr. He says thanks to local leaders the gulf coast is showing great progress.
Despite the criticisms the Bush administration faced with it's response to Katrina, now at the tail end of his time as President his supporters are only pointing fingers towards progress.
As Governor Haley Barbour puts it "an unbelievably large amount of progress has been made."
And the President insists this isn't a fair-well tour, he says he plans to make sure the Gulf Coast gets back on its feet.
President Bush viewed this visit as "an opportunity to listen to what's on peoples minds with the idea of continued work with elected officials to solve problems to make sure this is even better six months ago then it is today."

Where Will They All Go?
