CHICAGO (AP) - Ousted Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich
(blah-GOY'-uh-vich) is blasting the lawmakers who voted him out of
office, and is hurling accusations of adultery and excessive
drinking their way.
The embattled politician, facing federal corruption charges,
told WLS Radio that he's got his "crayons ready" and he's going
to start writing about what he observed during his two terms in
office.
Former colleagues and close associates say the comments are
those of a desperate man. One city lawyer says gossip won't help
Blagojevich out of the criminal case against him. He notes that
prosecutors would only be interested if the former governor can
prove that others in state government behaved illegally.
