WASHINGTON (AP) - Attorney General Eric Holder says the United
States is a nation of cowards on matters of race.
In a speech Wednesday to Justice Department employees marking
black history month, Holder said that many racial issues remain
unresolved and average Americans "simply do not talk enough with
each other about race."
The nation's first black attorney general, Holder said the
American workplace is largely integrated but Americans still
self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.
He urged people of all races to use Black History Month as a
chance for frank talk about racial matters.
Holder argued that people who work at the Justice Department
have a special responsibility to advance racial understanding.

lol I wonder how many shcrimation, hairesin lawsuits will be filed just with in the Justice Department alone. [He urged people of all races to use Black History Month] who is he calling coward? Whose race is so insecure it has its own history month? The obamanation speaks. There is only American History month that needs to be urged to talk about. You’re American first and foremost. Not black American, Irish American, Italian American, and Asian… If you don’t have enough respect for yourself, how can you respect others? If you can’t be an American first, then get out of the country. That’s what is what is wrong. We have to many people living here that are not or do not want to be Americans or just don’t have a clue what it means to be an AMERICAN. There is no Race in this country. We are free from it and free for it, well except the month of February. Ok Att.Gen. I talked about it.

Voluntary segregation is a product of nature…it will never be overidden by anyone or anything.

”... Holder said the American workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.”

Isn’t this true across the board?  People tend to hang out with other people that share a common interest, or activity.  The last thing in the world I would want to do on my free time is hang out with my co-workers.  I see entirely too much of them five days a week as it is!

I think we talk about race way too much.  That is the whole problem with this country. If we are supposed to all “get along” then what does it matter what race we are? Calling attention to race only makes racism worse.

Attorney General Eric Holder says the United
States is a nation of cowards on matters of race.

He doesn’t know me so therefore he can’t say if I am a coward or not.

In a speech Wednesday to Justice Department employees marking
black history month, Holder said that many racial issues remain
unresolved and average Americans “simply do not talk enough with
each other about race.”

What’s there to talk about?

The nation’s first black attorney general, Holder said the
American workplace is largely integrated but Americans still
self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.

If it’s private then are we required to hang out with co workers just because of their race?

He urged people of all races to use Black History Month as a
chance for frank talk about racial matters.

Isn’t black history being shoved down everyones throats enough already?

Another Idiot….Since when is it the Attorney Generals job to be the race relation advocate?
