Suspended running back Ricky Williams has appliedfor reinstatement to the NFL. His agent, Leigh Steinberg, says
Williams is excited about the possibility of playing in the league
again.
Williams has played in only 12 NFL games since the start of the
2004 season. His current suspension began in April of 2006 after he
violated the league's drug policy for the fourth time. He tested
positive for marijuana this April.
Williams remains under contract to the Miami Dolphins.
