UPDATE: One person in custody following manhunt in Okaloosa County

UPDATE (4:18p): The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office says a Crestview man was taken into custody shortly after 4 p.m. Monday in connection with a domestic violence-related incident at his home on Barnes Road.

The sheriff's office says charges are pending for the man involved in the shooting at his home on Barnes Road.

72-year old Thomas Davis, deputies say, hit his wife, then fired a shotgun at her and two others as they fled the home.

Davis was found inside the home and taken into custody without incident after deputies were given conflicting reports about whether or not he was in the home or had fled into woods, the sheriff's office said.  The sheriff's office says deputies set up a perimeter and began an area search while they kept an eye on the house. Deputies say movement was spotted in a window and Davis ultimately surrendered to verbal commands to come out.

Davis' wife is being treated after a pellet hit her in the neck, according to the sheriff's office, and is undergoing treatment at North Okaloosa Medical Center.

Another woman reportedly suffered minor injuries in the escape, deputies say.
