MILTON, Fla. (WKRG) -
Santa Rosa County Sheriff Bob Johnson says that two children were taken from Pea Ridge Elementary School Thursday by their father who had a court order prohibiting him from being near them.
According to the Sheriff, Emanuel Martinez Pose has a Domestic Violence Injunction (DVI) in place that requires him to stay 500 feet from the children. The sheriff continued to say that Pose had made comments to the mother that "If he couldn't have the kids, no one could."
Around 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Pose went to the school and picked the two children up, the Sheriff said. Pose was located four and a half hours later with the children at a ballpark in Pace. He was taken into custody and the children were unharmed.
