Copeland posts after mom walks out: Need one woman who is "fine and loyal"

PENSACOLA, FL (WKRG) - Less than 24 hours after watching his mother walk out on national television, Florida-commit Jacob Copeland of Pensacola is trying to find the next lady in his life.

In a post that's receiving plenty of attention on social media, Copeland wrote on Facebook, "On the real tho I appreciate the love... but I need one girl to be my blessing. Fine and Loyal."

The post included the "looking eyes" emoji and the winking emoji.

Copeland's search for a woman appears to be working, at least on Facebook.  Multiple women are writing "hey boo," or heart emojis to gain the prized prospect's attention.

Some are even tagging their female friends in the post to suggest a pairing.

Copeland's stardom skyrocketed on Wednesday after the drama that unfolded when he surprisingly chose to attend the University of Florida on national signing day.  Copeland's mother, wearing an Alabama sweater and Tennessee hat, walked out on Copeland during a national television broadcast when he decided to commit to the Florida Gators.

After Copeland broke down in tears, his mother returned to hug him, sending the gymnasium full of supporters into thunderous applause.

The reception on Facebook wasn't as kind, as thousands berated Copeland's mother for walking out in such a pivotal moment of her son's life.
