Threat prompts extra security at Davidson HS on Friday

The campus will be closed to outside visitors

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) - Visitors will not be allowed on the Davidson High School campus on Friday, after a threat against the school was posted on social media.

Superintendent Martha Peek announced the extra precautions on Twitter early Friday morning. 

The threat, which was posted to SnapChat and Instagram, warned students not to come to school on Friday.

Davidson High School acknowledged the threat on Facebook Thursday evening, but insists the threat is not credible.
