Murder Charge Dropped Against Murphy High Student

MOBILE, Alabama (WKRG) - A Mobile County District Court Judge has dismissed the Felony Murder charge against Taylor Law. 

Law was charged along with Ryland Kidd after Justin Edwards was shot and killed outside Panera Bread on Airport Boulevard.  

In the order, Judge Joe Basenburg ruled that there was "no evidence presented at the preliminary hearing that [Taylor Law] participated in the commission or completion of the murder."

The order goes on to state that "while at least one other criminal offense might have been charged"

The Judge found there was no probable cause to send the case, as charged, to the Grand Jury.

The murder case against Ryland Kidd is still moving forward.
