MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) - UPDATE
Mobile Fire-Rescue released the following information:
Residents and guests were on the first floor of the home when the fire began, according to the homeowner. No civilians were harmed by the house fire. An MFRD firefighter was transported to a local hospital for medical care during fireground operations. The cause of the fire is under investigation and currently remains undetermined.
Mobile Fire-Rescue Units responded to the 1800 block of Canebrake Court near Hillcrest Road for a house fire.
According to Mobile Fire-Rescue fire, the flames were visible from the second-floor bedroom but the fire is out at this time.
