Trump's Former Campaign Manager Visits Gulf Coast

A former campaign manager for now President Donald Trump has written a book that takes us behind the scenes of the Trump campaign. Corey Lewandowski was at Page and Palette in Fairhope today along with co-author David Bossie signing their new book, "Let Trump Be Trump: The Inside Story of His Rise to the Presidency".

Folks packed into a room at the Page and Palette to listen to two men who have the inside scoop on the Trump campaign. The book details political feuds, the triumphs and hits the campaign took, everything between the Access Hollywood recording to the Clinton Accusers, to the startling victory. Former Campaign Manager, Corey Lewandowski says this book isn't just for Trump supporters.

"This book is for anybody who wants to understand the political process. This was a reckoning for America, this was a takeover of America from the outside. And that's what we love about Donald Trump, is he came in, he took over the party and now he's the president of the United States. It's so special, anyone can get something out of this book," says Lewandowski.

In addition to campaign manager, Lewandowski has been a political commentator for both Fox News and CNN. Co-author David Bossie was his deputy campaign manager and was president and chairman of the conservative advocacy group Citizens United. The book is now number one on Amazon for non-fiction. When I asked what they thought of the job Trump is doing, now 11 months into his administration, they pointed to the economy.

"We have a booming economy, just from the sheer force of his will, his belief in business and the business community understanding they now have a friend in the White House. That's what this president is committed to, and now 3.3% growth in the third quarter, with this tax reform package that is about to get to his desk we hope next week," says Bossie.

There are still several copies of the book for sale at Page and Palette, including signed copies.
