Deputies Execute Early Morning Raid

Mobile, Al (WKRG)--UPDATE: (10:15 am)- The Mobile County Sheriffs office has identified 43-year old Roderick Pettway and 42-year old Aundrea Gray as the suspects arrested in the drug raid.


The search warrant resulted in 65.5 ounces of cocaine along with assorted prescription pills including Oxycontin, Percocet, and Xanax.  The seventeen-year-old son of gray was in the home at the time and both Pettway and Gray have been charged with Chemical Endangerment of a child as well as Trafficking in Cocaine and Possession of Marijuana 1st Degree.

ORIGINAL STORY:  Two people arrested this morning in a neighborhood almost directly across from Mobile Christian School as parents were dropping their kids off at school.

This is Woodland Road off Cottage Hill in West Mobile.  The number of undercover officers on the scene suggests drugs are involved.

The Sheriff's office provided the list of drugs confiscated this morning:

70 - Xanax pills

4 ounces of powder cocaine

2.5 grams of crack cocaine

96 Oxycodone pills

2- Cialis pills

1 hydrocodone pills

3 Percoset pills.

15 grams of marijuana

The items listed have a street value of $5,000 -$8,000
