UPDATE: Bay Minette double shooting suspect turns himself in

BAY MINETTE, Ala. (WKRG) - One of the two suspects wanted in connection with a double shooting in Bay Minette turned himself into Baldwin County Jail Tuesday. 

According to Bay Minette PD, Terrance Tyrell Crook was named as a primary suspect in the shooting on  East Hickory Street on Monday, March 5. 

Crook was booked into jail at 9:30 a.m.

Terrance also had an active felony warrant for Assault 1st, according to police.

Police are still searching for the second suspect, Chaney Thomas. Bay Minette PD says Thomas has an extensive criminal history and is known to be armed and dangerous. He has previous convictions for assault, drug possession and drug distribution. Thomas’ last known address is on South Hoyle Ave in Bay Minette.

One of the shooting victims, Anthony J. Williams, was found by police with a gunshot wound to the chest and leg and was transported by ambulance to USA Medical Center. The other victim, Latasha Tiane Mims, was also shot in the chest and transported to USA Medical Center.
