Therapy dogs cheering up students recovering from fatal bus crash in Alabama

BALDWIN COUNTY, AL (WKRG) - As young students from Texas recover in Alabama following Tuesday morning's fatal bus crash on Interstate-10, they're being greeted -- and licked -- by helpful heroes walking in on four paws.

Therapy dogs are cheering up the students who are still rattled after their tour bus crashed and fell down a ravine over the interstate in Baldwin County.

Labradors were among the dogs seen walking into local churches for the sole purpose of keeping the students in good spirits.
