Spring Break begins for Baldwin County beaches

Gulf Shores, Ala. (WKRG) - Spring is just around the corner, but Spring Break starts this weekend along the beaches. So there are certain things in Gulf Shores folks need to be aware of.

First, want to enjoy an adult beverage on the beach? Don't do it. The alcohol ban returns to the public beach starting March 3 and running through April 8.

If you are going to park, you have to pay. Meters are at all public beach accesses.

Don't think about camping out on the beach in a tent, in a sleeping bag or even in your car. It's against the law in the city. And as always, if you bring it to the beach, take it with you when you leave. That's not just for Spring Break, that's always.

Traffic is expected to start building over the next couple of weeks, so when you pack your towel and suntan lotion don't forget to pack your patience.
