For their efforts the flotilla received some help of their own Tuesday.
The E.E. Delaney Foundation presented a check for $35,000 to the flotilla to buy a new search and rescue airboat.
The foundation is set up to help charities in the community.
Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran also announced that the flotilla received two other donations: a check for $5000 from Laura Adams and a check for $500 from the Atchison firm.
If you would like to help, you can send donations to the Mobile County Sheriff's Flotilla, P.O. Box 9916, Mobile, Alabama, 36691.

I hope many families will send in at least $5. It all adds up.
