The following is a press release from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office:

The School District of Escambia County has been notified of a scam in the Pine Forest High School area. A person posing as a student from Pine Forest High School claims to be soliciting funds for the school’s wrestling team. The person was carrying an envelope with “Pine Forest High School Wrestling Team” written on it. Pine Forest High School does not have a wrestling team and is not soliciting funds door-to-door.

Anyone approached by this person should contact the Escambia County Sheriff’s Department.
