Workers on Strike

Northrop Grumman workers at the Pascagoula plant are officially on strike. They hit the picket lines at nine this morning.

Last night, the Pascagoula Metal Trades Council overwhelmingly voted down the company's latest contract proposal.

They say Northrop Grumman wasn't offering enough money, to combat the rising cost of living on the coast.

We have a crew on the way to Pascagoula and will have the latest today on WKRG news at noon, 5 and 6.
