This holiday season will be especially tough for one Saraland family who lost their loved one to Leukemia. We first introduced you to Allie Goodrich last Summer when her family held a bone marrow drive hoping they could find a match to save her life. Even though it wasn't at that drive, Allie's aunt says a match was eventually found for her through the National Bone Marrow Foundation. But, the cancer proved to be too much, Allie passed away December 14th. She was only 21. Now, her family hopes people will want to help others in Allie's memory, "oh we would love for people to do that in honor and memory of Allie to, so that, other lives could be saved or lengthened and just have hope that, that people care and want to help," said Allie's aunt, Judy Napp. Nearly 400 people showed up to help Allie at the bone marrow drive her family organized for her back in July, some didn't even know her. Allie's aunt says they believe lives will be saved because of that drive.

IT IS SO SAD TO SEE THE YOUNG ONES GO FROM SUCH A TERRIBLE ILLNESS.  I HOPE SHE DID NOT SUFFER IN THE END.  She is at peace now and will be with her family at christmas just not in pain now.
