Birmingham, Alabama – WKRG, the Media General-owned television station in Mobile, Alabama has been recognized for excellence in journalism. In the first combined single-day awards ceremonies for the Alabama Associated Press Broadcasters Association and the Alabama Broadcasters Association, WKRG received nine first place news awards.

In the Alabama Associated Press Broadcasters Association, WKRG competes against television stations in Birmingham and Mobile in the Large Market category. WKRG is the only Mobile station to win Alabama AP Awards this year. In the Alabama Broadcasters Associations award competition, all statewide television stations compete against each other.

I really don’t care what they call it,if it taste good,Grouper or catfish or what but the price makes a huge difference on my budget!Good eye opening news piece on suspicious fish.

Congratulations!

I did love the fishy fish story and it changed my life.  I can’t go into a restaurant around this area without thinking about those Grouper impersonators.  The real funny thing is that I used to love that Chinese catfish disguised as a grouper!
