Strong winds blew over garbage cans across the city, preventing city workers from picking up all the garbage on Monday routes.
When this happens, the City of Mobile's Public Works Department declares it a "Windy Day" and reschedules garbage collection. If your can was blown over or your trash was not picked up for any reason, the city says you should leave your can at the curb until Wednesday.
