Attorneys could have a tough time finding jurors who have not already made up their mind about the case. Jack Wiley made national headlines when he was arrested last year. Oprah Winfrey even discussed the case on her talk show.
According to prosecutors, the two victims and their mother lived with Wiley when the abuse occurred. Glenna Cavender admitted she knew it was happening. She pleaded guilty to child abuse this summer and is expected to testify against Wiley.
The two victims, who are now 5 and 17, are also expected to testify.
