Two brothers who police say are serial robbers will not be getting out of jail for now. Mobile County District Attorney John Tyson Jr. and Mobile Police Deputy Chief Jim Barber were in court Tuesday morning fighting to make sure Anthomas and Brandon Carr stay behind bars. The Carr brothers are accused of robbing the CVS store on Dauphin Street Sunday night while out on bond for other crimes, "we asked for an extraordinarily high bond. I don't think I've ever asked for a 10 million dollar bond before. The Judge did me one better and gave both of them a no bond," said Mobile County District Attorney, John Tyson. The mother of both men was also in court, she says her sons didn't do it, "no m'am they did not commit the CVS crimes. They were at home eating ice cream and they had just left my house and they had got put out up on another end of Old Shell and made it there. So, they didn't do this one and they didn't do the smoothie robberies either," said Sandra Carr. The Carr brother's alleged accomplice in Sunday's robbery will stay behind bars for now as well. The D.A. asked the Judge to deny bond for Antonio Brown. He essentially got his wish when Brown's attorney asked that his client's bond hearing be done at the preliminary hearing.
