Prichard Police Chief Lawrence Battiste tells News 5 around 9:30pm an unidentified black male was fatally shot on Dial Street in the Whistler community. Prichard Police has detectives on scene trying to identify the man and talking to residents in the area. At this time Chief Battiste says the department cannot release any other information about the situation.
