Mobile firefighters believe faulty wiring or a short in the electrical system of a van started an early morning fire that burned down a home in Tillmans Corner.
Somone called 911 around 2:30 a.m. to say there was a van on fire, under the carport of a home on General Lee Avenue. When firefighters arrived six minutes later, the house was also on fire. Flames had spread to the attic and had broken through the roof.
The fire caused on estimated 165-thousand dollars in damage. Investigators are focusing on the 2007 Saturn Relay where the fire started.
