Students at the University of South Alabama are remembering those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. Tuesday morning, the Student Government Association dedicated a plaque in memory of the victims. The bronze plaque was placed inside the Flag Memorial, near the Student Center. During the service, the flag was lowered to half staff, and there was a moment of silence before Taps was played.
